Let’s dive right in and design a Video FAQ Series for a Dental Practice.
Most people who visit the dentist have the same three questions, How much will this Cost? Is this a Painful Procedure? And What should I expect after the procedure?
So as a dentist, this means you should address those three questions for each of your most expensive, invasive or painful procedures, as well as explaining procedures that require multiple visits or a longer healing period.
Let’s begin with cost. while it’s understood that most dental practices don’t publish their prices, we recommend creating a welcome video that showcases your facility, details the patient’s first consultation, and identifies the insurance plans you accept. This is a great way to remove concerns about cost, introduce your practice and your new video FAQ series.
Let’s say your video FAQ series is going to concentrate on these four procedures: Veneers, Crowns, Bridges and Implants. For each procedure there will be two videos. In the first video, you’ll walk the patient through the procedure. And in the second video, you’ll explain “What to expect” after the procedure.
Two videos for each of the four procedures gives you an FAQ Series of 8 videos. Plus you also have a welcome video to place on your website’s homepage.
Keep in mind that while a Video FAQ Series is an informational tool, you’re also giving yourself the opportunity to address patient concerns and relieve their anxieties. Most importantly, your new Video FAQ Series builds trust in you, the doctor, and helps patients form a healthy emotional connection to your practice.
You might also consider making some more videos that are on the lighter side. For example, why not highlight the most profitable or least invasive procedures that the practice offers. After your patients complete their recommended treatment plan, they might like to polish up with an extra cleaning this year or a more dramatic Tooth Whitening session.
I hope this answers your question, Doc! Be sure to check out more of our series right here. I’m talking about Your Video, at Artiemedia’s Video FAQ’s. Send us your questions. Or contact us for a free consultation. Talk soon at ARTIE MEDIA.
