U. S. Ambassador Caroline Kennedy unveils TeamUp, an international education campaign which aids both US and Japanese institutions in increasing the number of undergraduates studying in each other’s countries.

What kind of video did NAFSA need and what purpose did each video serve?

NAFSA asked us to produce videos that would keep members up to date throughout their conference. The videos were to be useful to attendees, but also give those who could not attend a sense of being there. NAFSA was very happy that our videos captured so much of the excitement within the conference. But this video news release in particular provided a tremendous feeling of pride that the entire NAFSA community continues to enjoy.

How would you maximize exposure for your conferences and events?

NAFSA alerted its members, the public, and the media by sharing this nonprofit video news release on both Twitter and Facebook -the two social media platforms where their target audience is best represented.

Have you considered using video production to increase awareness?

This video news release along with five additional social media videos were all produced live and posted during NAFSA’s 2015 International Conference in Boston. To everyone’s benefit, Ambassador Kennedy’s comments turned out to be internationally newsworthy.

How can you use your nonprofit conference or event to achieve your goals?
